ECUST Secretary of CCPC Meets with Member of the UN International Law Commission

    Ambassador Huang Huikang, a member of the UN International Law Commission, was invited to l to give a report entitled “Diplomacy of Great Powers with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and the Current Hotspots” in ECUST on November 14th, 2020.  Ms. Du Huifang, Secretary of the CCPC of ECUST, met with Ambassador Huang Huikang and participated in the report.

    Ms. Du Huifang expressed that the report given by Ambassador Huang Huikang on the diplomacy of a big country with Chinese characteristics in the new era was of great help for teachers and students to deeply understand Xi Jinping's diplomatic thoughts and promote the cultivation of  internationalized talents in ECUST. She expects that the support and help of Ambassador Huang Huikang will promote the development of related disciplines in ECUST and will contribute to the internationalization work in ECUST.

    Ambassador Huang Huikang expressed his gratitude to ECUST for the warm reception and thoughtful arrangements. He hopes that ECUST will continue to be the national leading university in the field of chemistry and chemical industry, and at the same time develop in a staggered way with multiple disciplines, making good use of the unique advantages of universities of science and engineering in developing humanities and social sciences, so as to catch up with others in some characteristic fields.
