ECUST New Breakthroughs in the Field of Cancer Nanomedicine Published on Theranostics
Recently, Professor Zhu Weiping from School of Pharmacy, ECUST, developed and innovated a self-accelerating hydrogen peroxide stimulation-responsive gold nanovesicle, which realized the synergistic treatment of tumor chemotherapy and hunger treatment in mice. The related research paper was published in the biomedical journal Theranostics under the title of “Self-Accelerating H2O2-Responsive Plastic Nanovesicles for Synergistic Chemo/starring Therapy of Tumors”.
The above research was mainly completed by Tang Yao, a Doctoral candidate student, and Ji Yuejia, a Masters student under the supervision of Academician Qian Xuhong and Professor Xu Yufang. The research are funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Shanghai municipal science and technology major projects, with East China University of Science and Technology as the first affiliation.
