ECUST Research Progress in Isoporphyrin Published in Nature Communications
Recently, the research team of Professor Xie Yongshu from ECUST Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center has made important progress in the research of isoporphyrin, and the research article, entitled “Twisted-Planar-Twisted expanded porphyrinoiddimer as a rudimentary reaction-based methanolindicator”, was published in Nature Communications.
The research was mainly completed by Li Qizhao, a Postdoctoral fellow, under the guidance of Professor Xie Yongshu and Associate Professor Li Chengjie, with the help of Professor Jonathan L. Sessler of the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, the research group of Professor Zhu Weihua of Jiangsu University, the research group of Professor Hans Ågren of Royal Swedish Institute of Technology and Teacher Zhang Zaichao of Huaiyin Normal University have provided a lot of help in electrochemical testing, theoretical calculation and crystal structure testing. The research also received guidance by Academician Tian He and supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Science and Technology Major Project, Shanghai Science and Technology International Cooperation, Postdoctoral Fund and other projects.
