German Applied Chemistry Publishes ECUST Latest Progress on Design and Research of Hydrogenation Catalysts Based on Configuration Matching Strategy
Recently, Professor Duan Xuezhi and Professor Cao Yueqiang, a special researcher of catalytic reaction engineering team, ECUST, have made new progress in the design and creation of mechanism-driven selective hydrogenation catalysts for low-carbon alkynes. The related research article was published online in German Applied Chemistry with the title of “Embedding Single Pd Atoms on NiGa Intermetallic Surfaces for Efficient and Selective Alkyne Hydrogenation”, and was listed in Very Important Paper.
The article is first-authored by Dr. Ge Xiaohu, and corresponding-authored by Professor Duan Xuezhi, a distinguished researcher of Cao Yueqiang and a researcher of Shanghai Institute of Advanced Studies, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The research work has received guidance from Academician Yuan Weikang and Professor Zhou Xinggui and has been financially supported by the national key R&D plan, the National Natural Science Foundation and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission/Science and Technology Commission.
