Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of USA Publishes ECUST New Progress on Intestinal Microbial Metabolism and Host Health

Recently, the research team of Professor Ye Bangce from the School of Bioengineering and the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering, ECUST, has made important progress in the research field of intestinal microbial metabolism and host health. The related research article was published in the international authoritative comprehensive scientific journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America with the title of “The Micro biota-dependent Tryptophan Metabolite Alleviates High-fat Diet-induced Insulation Resistance Through Therapeutic AHR/TSC2/MTORC1 Axis”.

This article is co-first-authored by Du Wei a doctoral student from the School of Bioengineering of ECUST and Jiang Shanshan, a master student from Zhejiang University of Technology, and co-corresponding authored by Professor Ye Bangce, Professor Zhou Ying and Professor Qi Nan from Zhejiang University of Technology. This research is supported by the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and the national key R&D plan.
