ECUST Choir Shines at the 8th Singapore International Chorus Festival

ECUST choir delegation of 45 students won gold medals in the competitions of mixed group (under 25 years old) and folk song group in the 8th Singapore International Choirs Festival in Singapore from July 28th to August 1st, 2024. The  competition was against more than 70 choirs from more than ten countries and regions, including Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia.

An important carrier of college students’ aesthetic education, ECUST Student Choir, has been invited to participate in international choral competitions overseas for many times since its establishment, and won gold medals in international choral competitions held in Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Russia, Sweden and other places, which has become a beautiful “Name Card” for talent training of ECUST, and greatly demonstrated the elegance and aesthetic education achievements of ECUST students.
